WHAT: Discovery Gardens are a group of themed demonstration gardens open to the public.
WHERE: Lake County's Horticultural Learning Center is located at 1951 Woodlea Road, in Tavares at the Lake County Agriculture Center.
HOURS: Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon -Fri. Reservations are required for group tours. Phone (352) 343-4101
HOW DO I GET THERE: From Orlando take U.S Highway 441 north to Tavares turn left on State Road 19 . Turn right at the third light Woodlea Avenue. The gardens are on the left.
From Leesburg
take 441 South to Tavares turn right on State Road 19. Turn right at the third
light Woodlea Avenue. The gardens are on the left.
